High speed VCSBC4018 flasher

For illuminating very fast moving objects. Flash duration of 0.5 – 10uS. All in one unit for use with Vision Components VCSBC4018 camera

The board counts pulses of an incremental encoder. If a preset amount of pulses is reached, the camera is triggered. The flash can be triggered either by the board with a preset delay, or by the camera strobe signal.

The light of a ring of LEDs is focussed onto a spot of appr 10mm diameter, resulting in a very high light intensity.

The VCSBC4018 camera can be mounted directly onto the board, forming a complete solution. Power and I/O pins of the camera are made available through the board.
